GoPro Hero7 Black as Travel Camera?

4K 60P. Shot in Protune flat, WB native. Graded using ACES in Vegas Pro. Note the audio in both videos.

You were supposed to go in the Cathedral! Was it not open? Kept hoping you would duck in there.

Well, as you know GoPros are not very good in low light (or for interiors, with the fisheye). So, I had my RX100 V for low-light work and interiors. Stay tuned for church (and cathedral) interiors and HDR night videos!

GoPro GPS Test

Walked while shooting around a fountain. Would the GPS track accurately my path?

Inserted the telemetry data into Google Earth. Worked well.

Bonus - bubbles at the fountain, at dusk.

I was there for the Thanksgiving Holidays and saw the Thanksgiving Parade, What an experience!!!!, but cold as hell.....18 degrees that day. Love Bryant Park but in the winter it is even better, like NYC even better during the winter holidays, I even went to B&H took a tour there and bought my newest camera the Sony RX-10 IV will get it in the mail tomorrow. I like your shots of Bryant park, that was also a very cold but beautiful sunny day.
They have made improvements in the GoPro 7 definitely a travel camera now, but I definitely still like my trusty Sony X3000, waiting for a future update too.

Thanks
Luis

Yes I noticed that yesterday it is small will see how it does, i think the idea to attach the iPhone to the unit is a brilliant idea to use as a monitor I like that.
will see how it performs.
thanks

No 1080 120p on the Osmo Pocket

It was on the cameras given to those vloggers, but it is official it will not be a capability on the ones sold at retail. And not likely ever to be implemented with a firmware update.

Note that the GoPro Hero7 does 2.7K 120p and 1080 240p.

I am still carrying the sony gw77 with me all the time.

I hope dji cames out with the 1" sensor osmo pocket like one in mavic 2 pro. plus zooming features.

still waiting very long time for sony to upgrade their pocket gw77.

Nice collection of clips! So, I liked the 1080/60p linear output of the Hero7 Black so much, I broke down and got the Karma Grip (plus an extra handle) for it too. Not to say Hypersmooth isn't cool, but the gimbal smoothness and the extra pixels (in 4K) from turning EIS off are a winning combo too.
