Should you go by CRs TV Optimizer Listings?
Picture Mode: Movie
Color Tone: Warm2
Auto Motion Plus: Custom (Blur Reduction: 0, Judder Reduction: 0, LED Clear Motion: On)
Smart LED: High
Film Mode: Auto2
HDMI Black Level: Auto
Color Space: Auto
All other settings should be set to "off" or zero "0". Any individual R,G, or B color subcontrols, if present, should remain at their default settings. On some TVs, the Contrast control is called Picture. Brightness may be called Black Level. Color may be called Saturation. Tint may be called Hue.
To start, Brightness at 47 will nullify the SmartLED, which on High, is wrong except for HDR. (Maximum Brightness 45)
Color at 46, and Tint at G49R51, is correcting some kind of issue- rarely does this need changing from the Defaults. Calibration straightens out any issues.
Backlight at 16 would need a person to wear sunglasses - Default was 7, and I've since turned down to 6, it's that bright!
Auto Motion, person's personal preference, but I leave Off. Same with Film Mode. HDMI Black Level: Low Color Space Auto if not calibrated, On for calibrated.
They were suppose to have calibrated the set, so should be On.
