Rate your Poisons

As per my research, i see that many TVs have some sort of poison or another and you have to pick yours. I am curious about which poison is the most tolerable and which is the least. I would assume that

1. Vertical Banding - This would be highly irritating when you purchase a 2.5k OLED and experience this.

2. Blooming - Can be tolerable in low amounts? and improved with Bias lighting?

3. Motion blur - Depends on your individual sensitivity. Most people are not sensitive to it.

4. Flashing - This must be really really irritating when you are immersed in a movie and you have to deal with this (Looking at you OLEDS again)

What are some other poisons I might have missed and which poison can you live with / which one totally detracts from the experience?

I prefer Alice Cooper's Poison, but Poison (the band) is better for a party atmosphere, however, I can get up and dance to Bel Biv's Devoe's Poison better than any other Poison-type song. This is what you meant, right, since you capitalized the word "poison." Which is your favorite Poison?

I can't speak for flashing yet, is that the macro blocking squares on LG? Looks horrid and maybe unacceptable if it happens on low bit youtube vids.

Also haven't seen big tv oled vertical banding but returned a few VITA's because it had fad vertical lines on some portions of the screen. Really looks ugly.

So far, I'm I'd rather have some blooming than crappy motion.

I haven't decided which poison to use on my mother in law. Maybe something which is untraceable and quietly does the job

Possibly you could have her lick an unreasonable number of envelopes closed?

Or force her to watch everything her TV with interpolation on. Oh wait, 99% of the elderly already to that since their son-in-laws never bothered to turn it off for them.
