Yes, definitely John McClane in Die Hard. Honorable mentions to Butch Coolidge in Pulp Fiction and Hartigan in Sin City.

All great picks, but I'm going to go with his more subtle, dramatic roles in The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable. Also, can't leave out Twelve Monkeys.

Let's make a parallel list of most checked-out, "I'm just here for the paycheck" Bruce Willis performances. #1 would have to be A Good Day to Die Hard.

All the Die Hards, but he was the best in the third one, a world weary slightly burned out McClane who had to get it together. He was fun in the 5th Element "Anyone else want to negotiate"

Forgot about unbreakable! Such an underrated movie. They set it up for a sequel, too bad it never happened.

Hostage(2005), Red(2010) and Looper(2012) were very nice action/crime movies afaik.

Blind Date, his first movie, and Death Becomes Her, were he wears a wig a fake mustache and glasses, excellent comedies.

The Unbreakable sequel opens in theaters literally next week. How have you missed all the ads for it all over TV?

The early reviews are not very encouraging, unfortunately.

Remember before 'Die Hard' he was considered to be a funny actor. There were some people wondering why he did 'Die Hard', of course they were wrong.

Yeah most people laughed when they heard the Moonlighting guy was going to be in an action movie. But it turned him into an action movie star overnight.

I agree. Nothing wrong with Bruce, but it does seem like he likes cashing checks. I still like Nic Cage too, but he's been in almost nothing but junk.

There are many films where he's great... My favorite is probably 12 Monkeys though.

...Of course Die Hard (1,2,3), Pulp Fiction, Moonlightning, Sixth Sense...and somehow I have a soft spot for Armageddon, don't ask me why
