Surround setup under $700 (including any box I need) that can hang like painting?

In my house Im not allowed to mess up the walls, except I am allowed to put small holes in to hang paintings. Are there any good surround setups that can be hung on walls like that, just with a small hole?

In your situation m=you would probably want to use a soundbar system like the one below:

http://www.vizio.com/audio/home-theater/sb3251ne0.html

This is just one i found, there are several brands at different price points. Just plug into TV and add a streaming box like a Roku if you want.

Speaker systems would be better and some have keyhole mounts so you can attach a single screw but a small picture frame nail may not hold the weight of a speaker very securely.

The word “Surround” suggests audio coming from multiple locations aimed at a seating area.
Up until now it was just an Audio thing, as CES 2019 is demonstrating “Video Surround” with Video displays installed at multiple locations.

What do you want to hang?

If you can locate a stud, you can hang a Piano off of it.

....I was over exaggerating about hanging a piano, but a 16 Penny nail should hold over 100 Pounds.
Does this help?
