Lightbulb JBL Pro One Series 104 Powered Ref. Monitors

Among all the CES2019 it is easy to miss that there is a new "computer" speaker on the block from no other than JBL Professional: http://www.jblpro.com/www/news/news-...rence-monitors

I certainly would like to put them on every desk because they have much better WAF than JBL305 or Kali LP-6, but the big question is if they will deliver comparable performance to the bigger 305s?

The Good news - it is Coaxial! So extreme near-field could be better than any other Harman speaker. Driver is new and the design philosophy is also supposedly the same as all LSR JBLs. Principles of diminishing returns say that even such a cheap and small speaker could be imperceptibly inferior to all the big stuff at low to moderate volumes.

The Bad news - it has "cheap pricepoint" written all over it and has a port in the rear. + Harman/Samsung has recently lost Charles Sprinkle from their team - no idea if JBL is still as focused on science and performance as before? Publishing Spinoramas for these would certainly help with their credibility

So anyone getting these?
